1st class (First Period)

Describe
What I observed in the class was that students were very talkative, and they did not pay attention to the instructions I gave. We played the Spider’s web which an icebreaker. The materials I used were wool, markers, some sheet of papers, and the board.

I think that I didn’t establish some rules at the begging of the class. Also, my instructions were not clear for them.

Giving clear instructions is really important as students  understand quickly what the purpose of the activity is

Giving clear instructions can help students’ learning because they achieved the purpose of the activity which is to practice.

Based on what I already know about giving instructions, I think the teacher should give shorter instructions, so it is easier for the students to get the idea of what they are going to do in the task.

Based on what I observed, I think students generally paid attention to the activity, but they didn’t understand what they had to do.

I believe that giving clear instructions can help or hinder students’ learning since the directions are the key, for they understand the activity.

So, in the future, I will give shorter and clearer instructions

In future lessons, I will establish some rules for my classes.

The next time I teach this lesson, I will bring charts for grammar explanations
